An innovation is a novel idea, technology, practice or object that leads to added value when applied, changing business as usual.
These clinics aim to help innovators understand what and where the challenges are and the financial and clinical evidence requirements to solve them. Learn from experts in the field: Start Codon is a venture capital investor and venture builder based in Cambridge. They support aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and commercialise their innovations.
During clinic time, we can signpost innovators to additional funding and programme support. We also connect innovators with relevant business support programmes, relevant networks, and investment opportunities.
All clinics are open to all: regardless of stage of development.
CPFT and CUHP are especially interested in new approaches and technologies for the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, long-term physical conditions, autism, eating disorders and dementia, and supporting healthy ageing, to improve the lives of people who use our services.
The clinical innovation team works with CPFT staff, patients, industry and innovation partners to support the development and implementation of new approaches to improve clinical practice.
