Save the date in your diary as your Christmas plans fill up – on 1st December we’re hosting our 2nd Annual Christmas Market and Christmas Open Mic Night. 🎅
Christmas Market You can expect to find all your festive favourites: mulled wine, mince pies handmade gifts, independent traders, sweet and savoury treats. A special guest from the North Pole, Father Christmas will be on campus in the afternoon to hear all your Christmas wishes. If that’s not jolly enough for you yet, then stay for Open Mic night in the evening! 🎄
Located between CRUK and JCBC, the stalls are a short walk from the main hospitals on campus.
If you’re a foodie, we’ve got some delicious treats for you. We have the classic Christmas necessities with minced pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate. For those with a bigger appetite- tuck into some loaded waffles from Waffle + Co or tasty bratwurst from The Hot Sausage Company. ☕🌭
The market is free for all to attend – whether you work on campus, live nearby or are visiting. We look forward to seeing you there!
The event is hosted by Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre, Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, Milner Therapeutics Institute and CITIID.
Details:
- 2pm – Market trading begins with a welcome from carol singers, food trucks, craft and charity stalls
- 5pm – Santa arrives / CRUK bar opens with refreshments
- 6pm – Market and food stalls close, CRUK Open Mic Night begins
- 9.30pm – Event ends
Open Mic Night Come and join us for an evening of music, laughter and fun – straight after the Christmas Market which runs from 2 pm until 6 pm!
The bar opens at 5 pm and the live music starts at 6 pm.
Meet up with your friends / neighbours / family and enjoy an evening of great entertainment. As the weather is looking changeable, we will be holding the event indoors.
