NOTIFICATION OF WORKS

FROM CAMBRIDGE BIOMEDICAL CAMPUS DEVELOPERS – MAY 2018

We will be undertaking works to the roundabout at the junction of Francis Crick Avenue and Dame Mary Archer Way at Cambridge Biomedical Campus. These works are rescheduled from March 2018 following further discussion with the Highways Authority. The works are part of a package of infrastructure works required to assist the delivery of development at Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The works are required to comply with Section 106 Agreement Highways and are being carried out via a Section 278 Highways Agreement.

The alteration works to the roundabout include several dropped paving pedestrian crossing points, tactile paving to crossing points, widening of cycle lanes and existing footpaths including a safety barrier.

The works are expected to run from 11th June until 10th August 2018. During this time the area around the Francis Crick Avenue and Dame Mary Archer Way junction will require traffic management so there may be some increased traffic congestion. The carriageway will remain open for vehicles and cyclists however there will be some road narrowing and a minor diversion for pedestrians – see attached plan overleaf for detail.

We are committed to delivering the works to the highest possible standard and with the minimum of disruption. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience our works may cause. If you believe there is an emergency during the works you can contact Ed Pleasance – Breheny on 078911095581
