Our first breakfast will feature speaker Hitesh Sanganee.
Hitesh Sanganee is Executive Director and Head of Emerging Innovations at AstraZeneca, which supports the discovery and development of novel ideas with benefits to patients. The group focuses on executing AstraZeneca’s Open Innovation strategy, incorporating new and repurposed innovations and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
He joined AstraZeneca in 1999 as a Medicinal Chemist, and quickly ascended to leading multiple drug discovery teams, and the position of Associate Director. As he spearheaded alliance collaborations in ophthalmology and dermatology, and the repositioning of existing therapeutics, Hitesh obtained over 45 patents and publications.
Hitesh obtained an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School in 2018, where he also served, for over 6 years, as a mentor for fledgling entrepreneurs and start-ups.
