Library on wheels comes to Campus
Campus becomes latest stop for mobile library
Cambridgeshire County Council’s free mobile library made its first trip to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus today.
This free service for bookworms will be parking up by the Green in front of Royal Papworth Hospital and AstraZeneca’s Discovery Centre on the third Monday of each month from 1-2.30pm.
The bus carries up to 3,000 items of stock including fiction, non fiction, large print, books on CD and cassette, and children’s books. You can return books to it that you have borrowed from elsewhere.
Anyone with a current Cambridgeshire or Suffolk library card can use the service. If you aren’t registered, anyone who lives or works in Cambridgeshire do so online for free on the County Council website.
All vehicles have a lift for wheelchair users or those who find stairs difficult.
Find The Green on What3Words or Google Maps.
