All’s well at The Cambridge Wellness Fest
Wellness Festival returns to Cambridge Biomedical Campus
This week saw people’s wellbeing take centre stage as The Cambridge Wellness Festival returned to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Though the Campus is primarily known for world class life science research and healthcare, last week hundreds flocked to appreciate some downtime and learn more about topics including mental and physical health, nutrition, mindfulness and menopause.
With colourful flags flying on the Campus Green, there was something for everyone, including free massages and a chance to meet some of the Pets as Therapy dogs from the hospitals on site.

Attendee feedback was overwhelmingly positive:
“The event was a wonderful inclusive environment”
“It’s a good excuse to escape your daily work routine, and there is a good variety of different stalls/activities so that everyone can find something they like”
“Thank you so much for letting the local community attend the wellness day. It is SUCH an amazingly positive day, full of great experiences and connections made”
“I have been inspired to action as a result of the day”
“It was a fantastic opportunity to meet people from across the Biomedical Campus, the local community and those running stalls”
Gill Wilson, Campus Enlivenment Lead said:
“We run the Cambridge Wellness Festival because it’s important that people take time to look after themselves, but also because it brings the whole Campus community together with local people. It’s been wonderful seeing people interact, learn new things and make the most of the free activities to support their own wellbeing.”
