Phase 3 – Cambridge Biomedical Campus
To enable the future expansion of the Campus, the South Cambridgeshire Adopted 2018 Local Plan allocated the ‘Phase 3’ land for biomedical and biotechnology research and development as well as related higher education and sui-generis medical research institutes.
The land, which is owned by Cambridgeshire County Council, is immediately to the south of the phase 2 land being developed by Prologis.
The process for a new joint Local Plan is led by Greater Cambridge Shared Planning (GCSP) and they will be seeking views on a future draft plan which includes the phase 3 land. Find out more on the GCSP website. There will be separate engagement processes in relation plots or buildings on the phase 3 land as and when proposals are brought forward by the developers.
