Forvie Site

The University of Cambridge wants to redevelop it’s Forvie Site, which is located off Robinson Way, to build a “world class research centre focused on neurosciences and mental health.”

Status: The University shared information about their proposals to councillors at a Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council Joint Development Control Committee (JDCC) meeting in November 2023. They intend to submit a full planning application to demolish and rebuild the West Forvie building in Spring 2024, with outline plans also expected to come forward for the wider redevelopment of the site at the same time.
