Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research’s (CCHSR) Annual Lecture
The University of Cambridge, Primary Care Unit, is pleased to invite you to this year’s Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research (CCHSR) Annual Lecture, which will explore the question: Is primary care reform the solution to imploding healthcare systems?
The lecture will examine global opportunities for whole-system reform centred on primary care, addressing the significant challenges that have persisted since the Declaration of Alma-Ata in 1978. Despite widespread policy support for strengthening primary care, it continues to face chronic underfunding, a lack of systemic recognition, and a shrinking workforce. This presentation will highlight the key barriers to progress and propose solutions and enablers for meaningful, system-wide change.
