About the Christmas Market
Mark your calendars for 29th November as the holiday spirit comes to the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre and Cancer Research UK CI with a Christmas Market full of cheer and sparkle!
From noon onwards, join researchers, local crafters, small businesses, and off-campus neighbours for a day filled with seasonal delights, fun activities, and plenty of Christmas magic.
What can I look forward to?
- Festive stalls: Find the perfect gifts and holiday treasures at our market stalls, offering everything from handcrafted trinkets from independent local businesses to delicious seasonal treats (you don’t have to share!)
- Father Christmas: Santa himself will be dropping by, we know he’s especially busy this time of year, ready to greet the little ones and hear their Christmas wishes.
- Children’s activities: Keep the children (and big kids alike) entertained with festive crafts and games-guaranteed to put a smile on every little elf’s face.
- 🌭 Food vans and mulled wine: Treat your taste buds to delicious snacks and warm up with a cup of traditional mulled wine. Don’t forget the crepes!
Quiz and live music from 6pm
As the sun sets, the festive fun doesn’t end! From 6pm to 8pm, join Cancer Research UK for a Christmas quiz and live music that’s sure to jingle all the way into the evening. Test your knowledge, sing along to classic carols, and soak in the magical Christmas atmosphere.
