Record numbers take part in Campus Fun Run
Over 1500 people signed up for the third Cambridge Biomedical Campus 10k, 5k and Fun Run on a sunny Sunday April morning.
From seasoned runners to walkers, first timers and return participants, the event saw a wide cross section of our Campus community come together and celebrate getting active.
The run, sponsored by Prologis, also raised more than £6000 for some amazing charities which operate on our Campus, including Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, Royal Papworth Charity, Maggie’s Cambridge, The British Heart Foundation and Cambridge Global Health Partnerships.

“Growing up in a small town in Bihar, young women weren’t encouraged to take up running. I found my way to it much later—after my son started university. This weekend was a reminder that personal growth has no deadline. Challenging yourself and setting new goals is truly a lifelong journey. Happy to share that I ran my first official 5K race in UK at Cambridge Biomedical Campus and touched the finishing line happily!”
