CBC holds first Open Forum
Open Forum gives local people chance to learn more about the Campus
On 24 January 2024, CBC Ltd held it’s first Open Forum, inviting staff and local people to learn about our work and how they can get involved in shaping the Campus. We also had a presentation from the team behind the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital.
The Open Forum is the first in a series in which we can provide updates on the latest news and events on Campus, invite guest speakers and give people a chance to ask questions.
Read our Cambridge Biomedical Campus Healthcare Impact Study (October 2023), which is referenced in the slides, here. The report is based on primary analyses and stakeholder engagement by Carnall Farrar to estimate the impact of the campus across NHS activity, clinical innovation and biomedical research funding.
Cambridge Biomedical Campus Ltd was created in 2021 as a non-profit partnership which represents the main organisations located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
Our purpose is to support the sustainable development of the site to keep it globally competitive as a centre for health, education and life sciences. We also want to make the Campus a better place to work, visit and live beside. To achieve this, we need to engage our community.
To be the first to hear when our next Open Forum will be, sign up to our newsletter here or follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
