Campus staff shuttle service ends on Friday 26 June

The temporary, free CBC Shuttle service for Campus staff will end on Friday 26 June 2026, with no coaches operating after this date.

Launched in February by Cambridge Biomedical Campus Limited (CBC Ltd), the service was introduced to support staff travel between the Campus, Cambridge Train Station and Trumpington Park & Ride during a period of disruption affecting local transport services, helping to make commuting easier.

“Service ending” notices will be placed in coaches and at stops and drivers will continue to remind passengers that no services will operate after Friday 26 June.

Passengers are advised to ensure alternative travel arrangements are made from Saturday 27 June onwards. Journey planning apps such as Google Maps, Citymapper, along with local bus operator apps including My Bus Trip, may be helpful for planning onward travel and accessing live updates. Other options include rail services, the Busway and active travel routes.

The Cambridge South station will start operating from Sunday 28 June, with timetables available on the National Rail website.
