Hundreds make Cambridge Wellness Festival a success
A day of wellness takes over The Green
Staff, patients, visitors and local residents made the most of the Cambridge Wellness Festival on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus on Tuesday 8 September, despite a rainy start to the day. The Green was buzzing as people stepped away from their usual routines, explored the stalls and chatted with organisations about their wellbeing.
Organisations from across the Campus and wider community brought a range of activities and expertise to the festival, covering everything from physical and mental wellbeing to women’s health and creativity.
Visitors took part in activities ranging from guided meditation and chair massages to making smoothies by pedalling a bike, creating flower crowns and testing their knowledge with the Campus Quiz.
The festival also offered the chance to learn more about menopause and breast screening, meet Pets as Therapy dogs and take part in yoga, Tai Chi and sound bath sessions.
