Come and get your bike marked for free! Everyone is welcome- staff, patients and members of the public.
Getting your bike security marked by the police is a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves and helps reunite cyclists with their bike if it is stolen and subsequently recovered by the police.
Please register your bike in advance to speed up the process on the day. This links your contact details to a unique ID assigned to your bike. Registration will also be available onsite.
We want to make it as easy, safe and enjoyable as possible for people coming to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to do so via sustainable travel –such as cycling or walking. The latest Campus transport survey found that cycling journeys make up 16% of journeys to campus. We hope that by fighting cycle crime, this number continues to rise. Our Campus bike marking is supported by CamCycle and the sustainability teams at Royal Papworth Hospital (RPH) and (CUH) Cambridge University Hospitals. They engage with staff, patients and the wider community by sharing information and encouraging healthier, more sustainable behaviours.
