You have an idea, but do you have a business? And is it investable? A toolkit for founders

Every breakthrough starts with an idea. But how do you know if your idea can become a viable business, and whether it’s something investors will want to back?

At this Innovation Breakfast we’re joined by Mark Rogers of GroundedAI, who will share insights into what makes a venture investable, the questions founders should be asking themselves, and the pitfalls to avoid. His experience mentoring and supporting early-stage companies brings a practical edge to this session, giving you tools you can apply straight away to test your thinking and strengthen your strategy. Mark currently hosts a monthly Office Hours Commercialisation session at the Glasshouse, which provides founders with insights from the experts – completely free of charge.

Expect a candid discussion about:

  • The difference between having a great idea and building a great business
  • The key questions investors ask and how to answer them
  • Common pitfalls for early-stage founders
  • Tools you can use to test, refine, and de-risk your business model
