Raising money for good causes

We also encourage participants of all ages to consider raising money for one of our charity partners, listed in alphabetical order:

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust is dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care at Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals, both on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Charitable donations fund high-tech equipment, specialist staff, extra comforts and vital research to find potential cures and help save lives locally, nationally and worldwide.

Take part in the CBC 10k Kids Challenge

We are encouraging little legs to get active and complete 10km of exercise broken down into manageable chunks.

Just download the flyer and tick off eight blocks of 1km, whether swimming, walking, running or cycling with an adult in the lead up to the Fun Run. Then on the day complete the Fun Run and get your 10km medal!

Accessibility

Based on valuable feedback from last year’s event, we’ve made improvements to this year’s course to better accommodate participants using wheelchairs or running blades. We’ve reduced the number of repeated laps and incorporated more concrete paths into the route for a smoother experience. Please note that the paths within Hobson’s Park do have a layer of gravel, but we’re excited to offer a more accessible and enjoyable course this year!

Getting to the start line

We encourage visitors to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to consider doing so via public transport, walking or cycling as parking is limited. The Campus is served by both the Trumpington or Babraham Road Park and Ride services, as well as guided and on-road buses. For those who wish to drive, the closest car park is Car Park 2 or you can use Car Park 1. You will have to pay to use either car park.
