Paul Weston, Regional Head at Prologis UK, said: “It’s a privilege to support an event that brings the Campus community together while helping charities that make such a difference to people’s lives. Creating places where wellbeing can thrive matters to us, and the Fun Run captures that spirit perfectly.”

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust is dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care at Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals, both on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Charitable donations fund high-tech equipment, specialist staff, extra comforts and vital research to find potential cures and help save lives. The charity is also fundraising to help build two new pioneering hospitals on the campus which will benefit patients not just in the East of England, but nationally and globally too – the Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital.

Getting to the start line
We encourage visitors to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to consider doing so via public transport, walking or cycling as parking is limited. The Campus is served by both the Trumpington or Babraham Road Park and Ride services, as well as guided and on-road buses. For those who wish to drive, the closest car park is Car Park 2 or you can use Car Park 1. You will have to pay to use either car park.

Based on valuable feedback from previous events, we’ve made improvements to this year’s course to better accommodate participants using wheelchairs or running blades. We’ve reduced the number of repeated laps and incorporated more concrete paths into the route for a smoother experience. Please note that the paths within Hobson’s Park do have a layer of gravel, but we’re excited to offer a more accessible and enjoyable course this year!
