Works at the junction of Francis Crick Avenue and Dame Mary Archer Way

The Developers behind Phase 1 and 2 of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus will be undertaking works to the roundabout at the junction of Francis Crick Avenue and Dame Mary Archer Way from 26 March

The alteration works to the roundabout include several dropped paving pedestrian crossing points, tactile paving to crossing points, widening of cycle lanes and existing footpaths including a safety barrier.

The works are expected to commence 26 March until 15 May 2018. During this time the area around the Francis Crick Avenue and Dame Mary Archer Way will require traffic management so there may be some increased traffic congestion. In addition, there will be a minor diversion for pedestrians and cyclists together with some road narrowing.

The works are required to comply with Section 106 Agreement Highways works related to the expansion of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The works are being carried out via a Section 278 Highways Agreement.

We are committed to delivering the works to the highest possible standard and with the minimum of disruption. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience our works may cause. If you believe there is an emergency during the works you can contact Andrew Starks 07971984827.
