In the UK, Liberty has offices in Kent and London. Liberty’s involvement in the Biomedical Campus is directed by Andrew Blevins, Managing Director of Liberty Property Trust UK Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Established in 1958, Countryside is a private, award-winning property development company headquartered in Brentwood, Essex. The company employs 400 people and has an annual turnover of £230 million. Countryside’s 4.5 million sq ft commercial development portfolio spans office, industrial, research and development, retail, leisure and mixed-use property. The company is also engaged in the provision of private and affordable housing and is currently building 2,500 new homes adjacent to the Campus as part of the Great Kneighton development. The Company is renowned for responsible, sustainable development. Countryside’s involvement in the Biomedical Campus is led by Andrew Carrington, Commercial Development Director, and Mark Chatham, Director of Commercial Marketing.

Jonathan Burroughs of CP has played an active role in the Campus since the late 1990s when the vision of expansion was first conceived. He was responsible for brokering the relationships between the main parties involved in the 2020 Vision and continues to represent the interests of the principal stakeholders in providing practical advice and support across a range of issues - from financial appraisals and strategy development to marketing. CP is actively involved in helping with the delivery of appropriate laboratory and ancillary accommodation at a number of life science focussed projects across the UK.
