Located just 45 minutes by train from the financial markets in London as well as the European Medicines Agency and the MHRA, the Campus enjoys a strategic location on the southern side of the city of Cambridge. The Campus is located 2 miles from central Cambridge; 2 miles from the M11 motorway and 7 minutes from Cambridge railway station where non-stop trains take 45 minutes to central London.

A number of initiatives are underway to further improve access to, and around the Campus. Click here for more information.

For anyone arriving by car, the Addenbrooke’s Road provides fast and easy access to the Campus from the M11 Motorway. Two large multi-storey car parks comprising 1500 parking spaces are available to patients and visitors and are marked as Car Park 1 and Car Park 2 on signposts around the site.

Up to 60 buses an hour serve the Campus on weekdays providing links to the railway station, city centre and surrounding area. The  Cambridgeshire Guided Bus operates a regular service to and from the Campus from the Trumpington Park & Ride or the railway station (journey time of 7 minutes) and travels north through Cambridge as far as the town of St Ives.

Located 7 minutes from the Campus, Cambridge railway station has recently been extended to accommodate an increase  in the number of passengers travelling to and from Cambridge by rail. The frequent non-stop service to London Kings Cross Station takes 45 minutes and services to London Liverpool Street station also operate regularly throughout the day.  Local commuter services transport passengers to the surrounding towns and villages with links to the main cities in the north of England and Scotland.

The Campus is located 30 minutes from Stansted Airport and about 90 minutes from Heathrow and Gatwick. Buses operate on a regular basis from Cambridge city centre to all 3 airports. Cambridge Airport is located 10 minutes from the Campus.
